A WOF is required on all vehicles that are six years or older, every six months. Any vehicle that is less than six years old requires a WOF every 12 months. If a vehicle passes a WOF inspection we can post date up to 14 days from your current expiry date. You have 28 days to represent your vehicle should it fail. We issue reminders once you are in our system so you never forget when your vehicles WOF are due.
A broken cambelt can cause very costly damage to your engine. The problem is that there is very little if any warning before they go. We offer free cambelt checks.
Replacing your brake pads is relatively cheap and will greatly improve the safety of your vehicle.
If your brake pedal pulses when you brake, it is likely that your brake disks require machining or replacement. When your brake pads are checked and replaced we will check and measure your disks condition and wear. Shuddering can also be caused by unbalanced wheels. We will check both your brakes and wheels to find the cause.
When drum brakes need servicing or replacing them give similar symptoms to disc brakes so contact us if you think they need servicing and we can advice you.
